I know. Seems so strict and silly, but if you’re a strict Vegan, honey is considered an animal byproduct. I’m not vegan, but I have some very strict vegan friends.

I am not as bad as my granddad (a highlander) who when given bourbon described it as a ‘soft drink’. Mind, back then you only ever got Jack Daniel’s or Southern Comfort over here. American friends have since made me try other Bourbons I liked better, though it’s still too smooth for my taste.
