Having trouble managing the flood of messages from biologist pals chortling that Trump's anti-trans executive order legally defines every American as female, because defines people by their gender *at conception,* and all embryos are phenotypically female (they differentiate after 6-7 weeks).

I’m in the UK
(But I heard Suella Braverman and Liz Truss were at his inauguration - but presumably not in the Capitol bit).
After 6-7 weeks it's differentiated.

(I've seen it denied that the order declares us all female and claimed it defines us as sexless, undifferentiated).

But the main point is true: there are no males at conception according to the definition in the new law.
But they are not women either, as egg cell production doesn't happen at conception either.
Science and law are created by using as precise and accurate language as their creators can manage, because they are communal bodies of work that can't exist without wide understand and agreement
... agreement. This sloppy piece of work uses neither law nor science because its creators have no intention of permitting the existence of either.
on SCOTUS will sort this all out.
as it's god's will.
They're just bigoted assholes playing on the ignorant prejudices of anti-scientific religious people who want to take away the basic human rights of the people they hate.
