Any new category fraud happening this year?! I feel like no and it will just be a normal year of mostly the same shows, a few new comedy noms, and White Lotus taking up 90 percent of supporting noms, being happy for Walt Goggins winning and pretending it’s for Gemstones, The Shield or Justified.

Good question. "Your Friends & Neighbors" *seems* to be going drama and it's a dark comedy (but probably not a contender). "Etoile" is going comedy, it looks like, but I haven't seen it, so I don't know. Nothing EGREGIOUS that I've seen, but... there's bound to be a few surprises!

Sadly my Adolescence in comedy joke was ruined by it being a limited series, although I am sure many will still attempt the joke! I am kind of excited for realish movies to finally compete in TV movie category, only cause I loved Rebel Ridge, although Netflix still wonky on what is eligible.

Desperate Housewives was the first time I remember an hour time slot show competing as a comedy but I can't think of any examples of a half hour show being categorized as a drama in decades. Gunsmoke won as drama during its half hour format. The Bear should run as a drama.

I should have Googled that. 😂 Yes, let's leave it at a couple posts. It is nice to know there are modern examples for The Bear to follow because I would agree with the full 19 hours.
