Feels like a “we won’t let the Knicks beat us on the boards again” trade. LeVert was small for a 3, 20 mins a game of mediocre rebounding for 20 mins of just ok rebounding is probably worth it.

Hunter's contract is fine, gives CLE some cost certainty with LeVert headed into free agency. Cavs on track to be expensive either way. ATL clears the decks, gets some draft assets, reunites Niang and Quin Snyder just for fun.

Between Hunter/Wade (for all your accounting needs)/Okoro/Strus, Cavs have a solid and versatile wing rotation. Same was true with LeVert instead of DAH, but Hunter is a better fit and cost in draft assets worth even a small/medium upgrade.

Lavert was his best self this season (Caris Fucking Levert instead of Fucking Caris Lavert), but he's been a pumpkin again in the new year. This is better.
