At the age of 78, Trump may well die in office and be succeeded by the much less charismatic and generally unpopular Vance. Or, Trump's second presidency may be so catastrophic that Democrats manage to mobilise and rally around a stronger candidate in 2028. The future is inherently uncertain.
Or there just won't be another election as we would recognise it. As he has stated, and as has been stated by many of his inner circle, and with his entirely compliant SCOTUS to enable that
Yes, they would have to be the least competent fascists in history to not do that, and they have totally learned from their first clown show. Project 2025 IS the plan.
Next election will be Putin-style I fear. Biden and Garland had a chance to get them off the board and didn’t even try
His whole thing was not interfering in DOJ which I think was politically the right thing to do. His mistake was appointing a dweeb like Garland to run it.
There absolutely could be, the big worry if I was a US voter, is whether elections will be free and fair (as far as they are now) but Trumps stated economic policy would be hugely inflationary and life being much more expensive will undeniably have hurt Harris/Biden/Dems – disinformation probably...
Won't counter everything continuing to be very expensive and the incumbent takes the blame. Trump is insanely lucky (near assassination top of that list) but for 2020 arguably the first real challenge he had (COVID and doing nothing about it) he failed and lost the election
Oh yes, I think the next 4 years will be chaotic as well as capricious and cruel: will be very surprised if there’s another election permitted in a very long time though.

It's over.

It’s bitterly funny that the liberals’ darling didn’t even get out the starting blocks.
How is Jan 6 not attempted treason or insurrection? All the small fry, not even Stone, Flynn or Guiliani, never mind Hawley etc
America is done in its current form, I suspect.
