As one who started Duolingo French but didn't keep at it for very long, I'm curious: do you feel you could converse reasonably well in French now? If so, I might revisit.
Haha, that's how I felt for roughly my first 6 months there.
It got better, though — much better. By the end of a year, I was sometimes mistaken for a native speaker.
I should probably start, given I’ll be in a French speaking country for nearly a week in just under two weeks time. High school French was not yesterday 😂
I've been learning Russian (my grandmum who pretty much raised me since my mum had to work was a refugee from Russia), and I think I'm way far from completing. Helps that I've known Cyrillic writing since I was a kid, but sentence structure is kicking my hiney!
Très bien! From à guy who dinged level 27 just yesterday:) At least my newly bilingual keyboard puts French accents on English words now. So diverse :)

Great job, though! Thanks for sharing. Maybe I’ll take another crack at it.
Pain au chocolat ou Chocolatine ?
Félicitations Eva! I went to a super French school and barely paid any attention, except during the Marie Antoinette part.
Likewise, Belgium has francophones as well. Québec too.
