So far, my only experience with Scotland has been watching “Shetland” on Britbox.
It’s just so lovely. I can’t wait to see it in person.
(But maybe in the summer)
This is making me rethink my lifelong dream of moving to Scotland and finding a big burly man in a kilt. In Alabama, we aren’t used to temperatures that cold 🤣🤣🤣
They did try. When Scot Gov announced 100000 homes without power, BBC started with 'we've counted and the figure is 117000' a sudden attention to details and stats from BBC Scotland that Is mysteriously missing then they report on NHS or Education.
Power cut for 5 hours in my N Ayrshire seaside town. Spent the time at the window watching the storm then my ND head took over and started counting the cars that despite a red alert, the news, info on websites and a power cut still headed to Morrisons to see if they were open. 200 cars in 5 hrs!

Golf courses here are closed, greens tarped due to cold. Rather unpleasant.
