This is going to be the ultimate test of the Beth era. Up to this point everything has been business as usual, stick your head in the sand on NIL, don’t rock the boat type stuff. There still seems to be an attitude that House will fix everything. It won’t. Need to see this dept wake up and compete

How does Iowa St do it so easily? Do they have significantly more NIL and better facilities? I know Hilton is superior to Carver but Hawkeye women show that when a team worth cheering for is there it still can be a good venue.

I know it’s not necessarily the best long term strategy, but to generate some excitement in the men’s program Beth might need to strongly consider someone w/ Iowa ties. Someone who comes in understanding the fan base.

As one of the few Hawkeye fans whose biggest passion is men’s basketball it’s incredibly frustrating. I honestly don’t know what they can do to fix it. My Swarm money is directed to the men’s team and I’m starting to think I might as well just keep it and light it on fire.
