Lockheed P-80B Shooting Star, the first US operational jet fighter. First flight Jan1944. Over 1700 were produced, which saw extensive service in the Korean War. From the late 1950ies they were replaced by the F-86 Sabre. The T-33 trainer was related to the P-80 and much longer active.
