I recall reading a sports illustrated article on “what do 7”+ nba players do after they retire” and think one of them went into business doing really high quality menswear and suits designed and made exclusively for NBA big men. But I may be misremembering
How does the move away from slimmer cut suits work for smaller guys? I always worry that I look like a kid in his dad’s suit if I go with a baggier style.
You’re confusing cut with size. A fuller cut that drapes more naturally will not look improperly sized as long as you’re in an appropriate fit. This guy doesn’t look like he’s wearing his dad’s suit.
Proportions are key. Getting trousers and sleeves tailored for length so it looks deliberate rather a hand me down. Knowing Your body type is important but details matter more.

We really need to start bullying mass manufacturers of suits until they stop the skinny fit crap. They are selling what is close to a 20 year old fashion - it's like selling suits with flared trousers and glider lapels in the 90s
Looking at the ladies stuff there's a couple of interesting design cues in there but you have to be born lucky and know what you're doing to carry off a split dress, or anything smooth and shiny.
A bandeau structured dress would work. I'd probably go for that.
Only other example I can think of off the top of my head are the Outkast guys although they went a lot further out there (and definitely had a ton of fun doing it)
Then also a good idea not to wear a suit that looks like it had all of the air extracted from it with a pump. Traditional cuts are much more flattering to almost everyone.
So happy that Bryce James has signed to play at the University of Arizona where basketball is very beloved by our town. The facilities are first class and back in the Lute Olson era, the U of A was called Point Guard U! Bryce is 6'4" the perfect size for a Shooting Guard and more players will come
Larger as in not the form fitting, ego stroking disaster that every imbecile bro in the country has been wearing to formal events for the past half decade...
The former looks classy and comfortable, and exudes a natural feeling.
The latter is totally contrived and it looks like shit. The wearer is trying to draw attention to himself, but the only noticeable things are his ego and lack of aesthetic sense.
Yeah, I'm a casual dresser myself, but on the rare occasion I have to wear a suit these days I invariably find myself surrounded by dudes who subscribe to the Joe Rogan/Conor McGregor theory of formal dress.

He seems extremely over-animated.

So much nicer than the trussed up turkey look
