My thoughts exactly. Lots of close rounds so it depends what you like. The only way to beat Usyk is to push him back and Fury couldn’t do that for 12 rounds. Usyk always grows into the fight. There’s no doubt he’s a generational great.

I don't think Usyk ran away with it, and there have been more dominant 8-4 wins for sure. But factor in a big weight difference, pro-Fury narrative to the planning and officiating that seemed to favor Fury too, it was something of an uphill battle for Usyk. Win felt right

Yes, good points. Fury has proven to be a really tough dude, sneaky and hard to dominate. Usyk is so consistent and has a ton of stamina. Solid fight.

yep. 7-5 across the board and nobody bats an eyelid. people fundamentally misunderstand scoring. not every scorecard you disagree with is a robbery. right man won, but only four rounds or so were clear cut.

I had it 7-5 to usyk and was more leaning towards 8-4.

For those of us in the uk who watched on sky box office, I don't think the commentators or the whole sky sports viewer scores helped as they seemed to have fury winning the first 6 rounds 😂

Gave Fury 2 clear rds. 2 more I'm fine to see swing his way. Can't see any more than that. 5 or more is a real stretch. So much of his work didn't land super clean. Making contact doesn't equal a solidly scoring punch. Ppl underestimate how much steam Usyk takes off shots with his gloves and rolling
