Reminds me of the disaster that's Lone Tree City on the RTD line. There was supposed to be a whole complex built up around that station and the previous one (RidgeGate), then COVID happened. Now RG has an apartment building nearby but LTC is still a weirdly desolate station.

A lazy Sunday w/o plans had me wanting to explore. Having never taken the @wmata.com Silver line to its end I rode it to the Ashburn station & Loudoun Station "town center" (heavy air quotes). I didn't expect much, & wasn't wowed. Loudoun has a long way to go. ++
