Stop saying the problem is Trump. An entire political party, namely the one in power, likes what he is doing and the other, supposedly the opposition, is going along with nearly everything rather than resisting. It's not one man, it's America.

I see your point, but don’t fully agree. The agenda’s driven by Trump. Not all Reps support it—many & most Dems, seem too afraid to speak up. His behavior’s growing more authoritarian: firing dissenters, threatening lawsuits, prison or deportation, ... Do you think this wd be happening w/o Trump?
I understand that Trump needs people to support him, protect him & to help squash dissent. He appointed them for that reason. The Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity was also opportune. But without Trump, I think the country would return to its very flawed, but democratic, status quo.
Follow the money.
Who is enriched by the status quo? Until the world dismantles the structural and systemic foundations of inequality, I fear we are just rearranging the deck chairs on a sinking ship.
"Ohhh I see! You're actually *in* the cult of personality that thinks it's all about one man. It isn't. It's a system, and we frogs have been boiling a while now."
🎯 I mean just look at the problem of gun violence in schools. Columbine happened in 1999. No Trump then. If they wanted to fix it how broken they are, they would

"Yes, and...?"
"Trump's a liar!"
"Yes, sorry, what's your point?"
"Trumps's a fascist!"

It's why when Americans ask if they'd still be welcome in Canada on vacation, I give a very unenthusiastic answer.
