Ah, that's both sad and close to half-true. The problem is that official structures don't prevent or fight fraud, and in many cases stimulate or even facilitate. But the same is true about many freedomless regimes with perverted desire to bend the reality and seem cooler than they really are 😳

This is why reputable journals are asking for all original data before a paper is sent for review. Anyone participating in such dishonesty should have their career end dramatically.
