To close out my 2024 reading, I'm close to finishing Babel by R.F. Kuang. While I do have some criticisms, I've largely enjoyed the book and its commentary on colonialism. I read the Poppy War immediately before Babel and it's inspiring to see her growth as a writer between the two books. #booksky
