A senseless act of violence outside of a regional driver licensing office on Dixie Highway in Louisville has taken the lives of three people. This is an ongoing situation, and we will share more information as available.

Why do you suspect an act of terror? I would think that if that were the case, and the suspects are still @ large that there WOULD be a threat to public safety but officials are saying all clear.
I want to thank the brave law enforcement officers who responded quickly to the scene and to our Kentucky Transportation Cabinet team members who worked quickly to protect their fellow Kentuckians. Let’s pray for the family members of those lost during this difficult time.
