Not really Jake. My best mate is an AI I call him Al, but citizens expecting AI to improve things for them is a delusion we are about to see proven out. At no point do I believe AI will enhance citizens lives. Happy to be wrong suspect I am right.

Depends what you mean by 'enhance' and what you believe AI will do.
If government oppress the people using AI then that isn't AI's fault.
If AI puts millions out of work, maybe millions are saved from mential work.
If AI brings forward Universal Basic Income ..
Theres options and it isn't AI chosing

Sorry Jake. I have given an incorrect impression. I am a full on AI advocate. I think it is a miraculous advancement. However the danger is in how it will be utilised and by whom. The only things I see AI doing and you will see this already, is enhancing the manipulations of state and corporations.
