Can all US State employees that get sacked ALL insist on a 20% pay rise when rehired.

Running thread of people trying to normalize the sieg heil. It's not an "Elon gesture", it's not autism, it's not your heart going out, it's not parody or trolling. It's fucking despicable. Don't ever let this shit become normal. Fuck any excuse given, there is none. Zero tolerance. 1. Elon Musk

Reform isn’t a political party – it’s a pressure group with a fan club. Their policies quickly crumble under even the slightest scrutiny. 5 of the most baffling examples:

Be not afraid The UK’s GDP is 50% bigger than Russia’s and GDP per capita three times as great (as with most EU countries). The economic power of the EU alone (without the UK) is EIGHT times larger than Russia. The EU is a superpower. Russia is not. And should not be treated like one

When we talk about clickbait, this, via Reach, is what we mean. Deliberately misleading headlines. The update? There are no plans to scrap bus passes, it's a fake news story. Toothless watchdog Ipso has ruled against this kind of thing but the same headlines largely remain live.

The Telegraph once again nails the most pressing issue of the day for most people.

A bit of good news: NHS England hospital waiting list falls for 4th month in row. The lowest figures since April 2023. Considering the “quademic” and winter months, this is an achievement for both the NHS and Labour government. So it’ll obviously be all over the news, right?

Octopus have just emailed me to say I should fix my prices to avoid the rise in April. They seem to think the price isn't their fault and yet it's a PRICE CAP increase - Octopus don't have to put their prices up.
