Ash Wednesday is coming, and in the Book of Common Prayer that includes the ritual cursing of anyone who:
- "removeth his neighbour’s landmark"
- "perverteth the judgement of the stranger, the fatherless, and widow" or
- "putteth his trust in man, and taketh man for his defence"
