I think it’s important for them to understand that the solution to self-hatred isn’t to transfer that hate and anger to others.

Punching down doesn’t lift you or anyone else up. It’s never going to make you feel better.

The only way to let go of self-hate is to let go of hate. Full stop.

I talk too much. But talking through things helps me work through it. ADHD adds in hyperfocus and if I'm off, I'm running, full steam stream of thoughts. I'm exhausted and exhausting.

He loves me. Married almost 9 years. We rescued each other. So I'd be patient, kind, thoughtful and forgiving. 🫶🏻

My first step would be to invite lovingkindness (Divine blessing) for myself and hold intention to pass this on to them. Such holding is a work in progress for me, although impirtant in my spiritual practice. I don't believe this needs much time anyway, just a genuine will to send love for others.

I have spent years being a "surrogate parent" to my voice & acting students who have been disowned/diminished by their actual parents for being LGBT+. Because of their parents' rejection, they blame themselves. I hope I've helped them see their worth.

Yes. Accept what they are. Love what they love and have sex with whoever and whatever they choose, without fear of backlash from those with outdated, narrow minded, thoughts and life rulebooks. Most people need to be reminded how fortunate they are, to not be famous and not in the public eye. 🙌🏼

As someone who has been lucky to have folks in my life who have loved me without judgement (even through a struggle with drinking and mental health), I owe it to them to pay it forward. It’s certainly not always easy, but it really is worth it. 💚

Empathy is the goal. It can be hard and Empaths need to make sure they are taking care of themselves. A listening hear can help more than others realize.
