Edits should be online in a few minutes (clear browser cache).
One nit: latex hate / quarto love feels misplaced. I have been writing in markdown only for maybe a decade. Some of it becomes webpages or sites, or pdf slides or papers. I would stress md/pandoc. Quarto is a wrapper.
(Yes, I should tighten it.)
I, like you, have done latex since forever (very late 1980s, Uni Karlsuhe ...) and I know how it works when I need it. Yet pandoc faithfully turns my md into tex. And lets me add latex where needed. All rather nice really.
