The Cipher Challenge becomes fairly mathematically heavy by the later rounds.

Ours get really into Ritangle. I think it helps that it’s a team competition.

I hadn’t come across that before. The questions look pretty challenging. Do the students organise this themselves outside of school or do the teachers get involved?

They organise it themselves. If you use Teams for homework etc then a nice thing to do is set up a private channel for each team to communicate in - that way you can eavesdrop on their discussions and progress!

You could run a Senior Team Challenge in-house (using past materials) - cross numbers, shuttle rounds, etc
