The more I think about genre...me so confused... Labelling COME AND SEE as a horror movie always raises my hackles, yet the impulse to call SEVERENCE a 'thriller' when I feel it is clearly shot as horror annoys the hell out of me. Don't call X horror; please call Y horror? I don't even know.
