Many forget that before “The Birth of a Nation”, KKK membership was dwindling. But the movie depicted them positively and was even praised by President Wilson. Membership exploded. Trump investigating anti-Christian bias reminds me of attending parochial school prior to public HS: My friends and I were surrounded by adults who put the Fear of God in us that public school would be a hell on earth like we'd never seen. Turned out most of the students at my HS were Christian.
