I read it regularly.

They also have free English grammar tips and lessons, which as a native speaker I don’t use unless someone is wrong on the internet, but I use the comparable resources on Radio France and Deutsche Welle, which are also great resources for news.

Sometimes generations (even the TikTok one) follow the lead or emulate people they respect and care about.

My 15 year old grandson watches TikTok videos, but he also listens to the radio and enjoys discussing different topics and perspectives.

We should be encouraging our youth to be diverse.

VOA and BBC London were on medium waves, if I recall well, no jamming. RFE were on short waves, I think they even had more that one frequency. The commies had a jamming station standing on a hill in Prague,so if the weather was good, the RFE signal was good and we could still hear through the noise.

With bad weather we would hear nothing, but often we were 50 km south from Prague on the weekends, closer to RFE and further from the jammer and the reception generally was usable, even good.

I suspect, alas, that the usefulness of Radio Liberty to Ukraine may be precisely why Musk (and Putin, who he acknowledges he talks to regularly) wants to shut it down. It's *too* effective in spreading democratic ideals and news.
