Saw DAHOMEY at the NZ International Film Festival this year, and liked it a LOT but honestly would have falled off my chair if it had made the Oscar ballot. And no disrespect to the IMO pretty damn solid roster of nominees, but its almost precision tooled to be Oscar repellant rather than bait.
