Essity's position is that its products do not directly contain anything of animal origin, but it will not guarantee its products are vegan and there is an "extremely low" risk of animal products being used in its products. They do not undertake any animal testing except if legally required to.

Very few advertise they are vegan, like the ones in the article. Beyond that, you have to write or call customer services to ask them directly and press until you get an answer.
