You mean Government needs to develop this capability. It should only be an RAAF concern if that is a whole of government decision about the most cost effective way to provide the required capability.

True, and good point. In terms of having a stable workforce with high training standards, and infrastructure to support operations, pilots and aircraft, the RAAF is probably the only organisation in the country that could do it at the moment tho.

Yes agree. I looked into it a few years ago and it does seem complex (there are strong & differing views about converting military aircraft) but def worth pursuing.
