Glad to see your assessment is in line with my initial read, which was "OK, Cleveland made out like bandits here, and if even one of the two prospects hits, it's an absolute heist."

Told my Guards fan friend that Horwitz for Gimenez was a great upgrade in terms of ops+.

Then saw they flipped him for a low 3's era starter and it was immediately the most Guardians move.

Even as a fan who was a bit skeptical of Ortiz repeating this year, absolutely hate this deal for pirates. If you’re gonna move all those arms, get someone with some pop in OF and slide Reynolds or Cook to 1B if needed.
