I think the bar solution is probably easier and cheaper to manage, but you're probably better with the sling more open and level with four points so that the bottom isn't curled up at all.

And what you spend on ceiling anchors you can save on the sling. It looks like the sling in the "bar" example is preventing the folding by being more substantial of a piece of furniture.

4 points gives you more options to have the head or feet at different heights plus you’re less bunched up.

Feel like the T bar kinda folds the sling in on itself and probably folds the bottom over too - makes it more difficult to straighten out your back and arch into the dick fully?

That's what I thought! But the people in the shop the other weekend were recommending a T Bar and on reflection I don't know why 😅
