I feel like we are in an occupied country. There was no visible war or typical invasion, but we are clearly under the thumb of Russia and possibly some deeper entity (white Christian nationalist global I don’t know what).

We in Western Europe don’t see America as our allies anymore.
That makes NATO contact very difficult. We feel like we’re being sandwiched between Russia, who wants to expand, and the USA that suddenly want the same.
Now there both unreliable.

And the gateway Ukraine is half way open.

I am glad to hear that Europe now realizes the US is not an ally. Europe needs to make plans to protect itself, because the jackals, Putin and Trump, are hungry.
Putin will restart the war after any peace deal is signed and Trump will start an economic war with Europe. Be prepared!
