That’s why going in to government for the greens is a poisoned chalice imo at a certain point you HAVE to compromise in a coalition government, and you’ll get lambasted for it

They didn't just 'compromise' - they fecked their election promises in the bin and got on board with CETA, Evictions, millions for greyhounds, and all by themselves screwed many victims of institutional abuse.
If you sell yourself as Left then form a centre right govt you deserve it. Á la Labour.

They hit every one of the programme for government, that was decided by the green party members. Unfortunately, they got blamed for every policy that looked environmental, whether EU or made stupid by FG/FF.

Not sure any green minister had much to do with institutional abuse.

Roderic O'Gorman was literally the minister responsible for the redress scheme for victims of institutional abuse.

They got blamed for supporting CETA, supporting evictions, supporting an LNG terminal and by extension fracking, more money to greyhounds than PWD.
And being patronising.
