I would love that! I have three spares for when mine inevitably breaks. It’s kept PC gaming accessible for me while being disabled, makes it so easy to play turn based strategy stuff

The steam controller, as great as it was when it worked, was pretty good. Ill admit. Just wish the Bluetooth in it wasn't so bad you had to get external drivers to activate BLE on some pcs.

They were really awesome. I don't know if have mine anymore sadly.

The steam link was also way underrated. Being able to stream my games to a TV from my main desk PC was great. I still do it with my living room PC but I like the form factor and low price of the link a lot.

TBH - i am very much pleased with the console/pc hybrid that is the steamdeck

The fact that it also has a desktop mode makes it really easy to test my own creations on there

100%. i miss the steam link box also, and it's absurd how expensive used ones are getting now. "smart" tv apps are not replacements for dedicated hardware.

The lack of a second analogue stick really just made it less useful than it could’ve potentially been, because the right track pad couldn’t really replicate the feeling of using one. But, I also miss it for quite a few games, though I have a lap desk setup now

I love the controller as a keyboard/mouse replacement. The right touchpad makes mousing around a desktop a breeze.

And for every game that mainly uses a mouse? I would hate to try using a joystick to mouse around Stellaris.

I wish it was as great as it was cool to use. I gave it a try and used it in various games and it's really awesome... but I wouldn't trade a normal controller for it.

The haptic feedback on the touchpads felt awesome

Oh yeah with the ROG Xbox Ally and the Steam Deack I think now is absolutely the time for $500 Linux home console gaming. Performance per cost was what killed it last time but I think both SteamOS and modern APUs are the magic ticket
