Everyone knows Enzinger described ES, but he didn’t. Laskowski, a Polish pathologist, was there first. From cases he collected between 1948-1960. In Warsaw. Take a look at the picture of Warsaw in 1945 and let this sink in. Laskowski J. Aponeurotic sarcoma. Pol Med J. 1971;10(1):12-7.

Nice case. Jozef Laskowski was the pathologist at institute Maria Skłodowska-Curie Institute of Oncology and described other interesting cases of chordoma periphericum. Dabska later renamed it parachordoma and published the largest initial case series of 10 cases in 1977. Some pics of him below
