I will never understand the autistic fixation on trains, distance train rides are long and boring and expensive and inefficient compared to plane rides

often Amtrak is legitimately more expensive than a budget airline and even when it’s about the same price, if you factor in the value of my time lost during travel, why on earth wouldn’t I take the plane
I was hanging out with autistic trans dudes and they were all so excited about long train rides. I was just sitting there like huh this content is not for me
