Both the ADA (1990)- which is the first national law in the world to protect folks with disabilities- and the 2004 update of IDEA (the educational “arm” of ADA, the mandates of which are still in place)were signed into law by REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS, the latter of which had a REP congress majority!!
