Also, I know nothing matters anymore but the idea that the best Italian food in America is in OHIO is insane to me. All politics is local, I guess lol.

Thanks to Tim Ryan for his insightful gustatory claim. Yes, there is an Olive Garden in Ohio, so who can argue? I mean, why go to Rao’s in the Bronx when the really good stuff is in Pachuch, OH?
When writing on X or Bluesky people often forgets to write the "/s" at the end of the sentences. You never know if they are serious or not. That last sentence was unnecessary anyway.
One of the best thing Democrats can do is ignore Tim Ryan. Warmed-over centrism, combined with whatever 'heartland' nonsense he's got percolating, is hardly a winning idea. Clearly, if it was such a smashing plan, we would be hearing from Senator Ryan - instead its 'I lost to JD Vance' Ryan.
It's not a bubble! They're trying to live in reality and losing because it's a battle of make-believe and communication. Democrats are inept at both. You have to lie a lot, generate a reality, control messaging on all media all day every day repeating lies using the same phrasology over and over.
My personal motto is "Just because you're outnumbered, it doesn't mean you're wrong." This brings up the lesser used corollary "it doesn't mean you're right either."
Tim Ryan was my rep for many years, so I have respect for him, but bruh, "straight talk" means "ignoring minorities". After all, why else propose moving it to Youngstown?
To be fair, there’s lots of Italian people in Western PA/Eastern OH (I’m one of them lol). The mines and mills hired our grandfathers/great-grandfathers.
As a West Virginian this doesn't surprise me from the absolute geniuses that populate Ohio. We get that bad rep from Deliverance but they're ridiculously dumb most of the time.
