Everyone’s mad at Fetterman for saying it’s okay to try to buy Greenland, but he also said we shouldn’t take it by force or coercion. That’s reasonable. Greenland’s not for sale, but if it were, I’d buy it too. I don’t like Trump, but we don’t have to be unreasonable about everything.

Why would a President muse about it out loud in a press conference? You negotiate quietly behind the scenes until a deal was done.
Why put public pressure on an ally and suggest military force?
Please don't sanewash this.
Watch.
People need to understand the big picture and the long game and stop b emotionally reactive to everything. It isn’t productive and is a reason why the Dems lose. Stop letting the tail wag the dog, stay calm, be thoughtfully responsive and think big picture/long game.
Denmark (America’’s ally) & Greenland have both said No.. it is not for sale, & the Trump has ignored that and has threatened ..
Similarly, there is no problem with expressing to a woman that you are interested in her… but when she say no, you don’t just go grab her by the pussy
The precedent for Trump calling for this is looking at…a middle school map?
that part we agree on. the fleecing has already begin.
But that’s just me…
This isn't a vacant lot, it's a place people have called home for thousands of years. If they want to be Americans, THEY'LL call YOU.
Until they do, all of you should STFU about it.
ITS NOT AN EMPTY ROCK
Anyone pushing this line off thought including Fetterman and this dude are on the wrong side of this.
I'm opposed to any effort to acquire, knowing it would eventually degrade into coercion, and that Greenlanders would soon wish they stayed with the Danish.
"Yeah, he is crazy BUT what if he can get this idea through"... JFC.
I tried to talk to him about intl. law and foreign policy f2f during the campaign and he admitted he was ignorant there.
Fetterman changes his personality to whatever suits him, so how could any of us trust a word he says.
No one is thinking about the visa/indentured serfs or SS.
I mean, I’m not “asking” them to bomb them, I’m just saying it’s not an unreasonable way to resolve a threat.
(Am I doing this right?)
PS. F@ck you.
It’s just dumb because there is no good actual reason that this is even a priority
Like, it’s just dumb as a priority. Why not just buy Mauritius too?
No offense taken, right?
The richest men in the world standing behind the dumbest man trying to buy w/e he wants.
Greenland isn't for sale? Do you think that will stop them? What/who are they willing to destroy to get what they want? Elected officials acquiescing to that thinking is the issue
There is, though, plenty of rare minerals, that are essential for producers of EV batteries.
Is it done to satisfy Musk?
Why not?
