Finding information about things in games is so hard these days. Horrible ad-filled sites, combing Reddit, joining game Discorda, and watching Youtube videos is far inferior to the text docs of GameFAQs. Not to be a boomer.

Fr fandom wiki is the worst with ads. It’s gotten to the point I can’t even have it open before it just closes itself on my phone. Maybe that’s on my phone tho lol
There is actually a neat browser extension called 'Indie Wiki Buddy' that tries to display an actual clean version of the Fandom sites without the awful Fandom 'features', or brings better alternative wikis to your search instead.
Could be the same one, you have to sadly set some settings manually so that it works automatically. Otherwise there is just a barely noticable banner at the top of the page for a redirection, or no indication at all.
Say no more, here's how to use fandom wikis without a ton of ads: https://breezewiki.com/ - no ads at all, same information as on fandom wiki but more readable page (no cookies banner, etc.)
Wikis are my go-to (when they're actually updated and not ad-filled, but I have an adblocker anyway). But for more obscure/niche games, yeah it can be tough :/
Anytime i'm playing an older game and end up looking for any sort of information i stumble upon a GameFAQs guide and it feels like i'm opening a dusty 500 year old tome of ancient knowledge hidden in a temple somewhere.
I know! GameFAQs has so much neat and niche information. Not just a guide, but how the fishing/poaching/stealing/whatever mechanics work in some random old game.
My favorite niche fact from GameFAQs is that at there's a secret door right at the start of Wonder Boy 3 that takes you straight to the final boss IF you have 99 Charm Stones (A ridiculously high amount).
The TAS speedrun consists of farming those for 20 minutes and skipping the whole game.
Yes! I miss the days of fan made websites, especially when they were formatted in a way that is easy to read and specific to the game it was written for
I was cleaning out my shelves last week and stumbled on the guide book for Disney Infinity. They just don’t make them like that any more, and that wasn’t even a good game or guide
This is why I'm eternally thankful for Steam Discussion pages, I know not every game has it, but it's been blissful to get pre-guide info right away after launch by asking in the discussion pages there.
Joining a large game's discord is so nauseating, dunno how people tolerate it.

In which this case, is "zelda.fandom" so, "zelda", so put zelda after: https://breezewiki.com/, which then becomes https://breezewiki.com/zelda
