Crochet is fun and easy, once you pick up the muscle memory for it. Don't give up! You'll be making little hats for pets, stuffed animals, and action figures in no time.

The only downside is you have to be able to count. Which I apparently can't. 😭

My great aunt taught me to crochet when I was 11 or 12 (I am in my late 40s now). I love it (and knitting), and I think the Woobles kits are adorable, but I’m honestly not sure I’d want to start with a 3D object as a first project. Nice flat scarves are good. Stuffies can be fiddly.

My Mom used to crochet because she always "had to do something" while watching TV (alt was to play solo Yahtzee) She crocheted so much she got carp tunnel & had to stop. I have an enormous blanket she made from that period. It is hard on the hands...

Crocheting was a thing back in the 70's...My Mom picked it up from my Dad's Mother...She was really good. We still have potholders my Grandmother made for us in daily use. I still have a pair of the slippers she crocheted too...1/

I tried to learn knitting from my mother in law...She could just sit and knit and talk like my Mom crocheted...But after trying it I know why Mom stuck with crocheting...Knitting's hard!:-)))
