‘Kill’ might be a bit drastic, but it definitely needs some action, pretty limited app as it is - but then Google has neglected.

I appreciate the simplicity of Keep.
It's also a very handy way of sharing quick bits of text (like the code I need to type into a machine to collect a train ticket) from computer to phone.
