I'm guessing I'm on a list somewhere of people who postal voted at the last election (because I was in Donegal at the time) and also they think postal voters might be sympathetic to them (potentially older demographics?) but. ew.

Have also had a lot of leaflets through from the Lib Dems.

We have both a mayoral election and a council by-election this year. I'll be honest, I didn't really know we had a mayor before this, as it's not a role I've paid a lot of attention to, but under current circs I won't vote Labour, Tories and Reform were always out... Lib Dems might have a shot.

Some of the candidates are going on about ending the "war on motorists" and buddy, I WISH there was a war on motorists in this city. Then maybe I, as a cyclist, wouldn't be taking my life into my own hands every time I have to turn right at a junction. We might even have functional buses.

Having two first names seems to confuse a lot of people. They assume Finn is my middle name and omit it, but it's actually the only one of the two that I use, so they end up calling me by the wrong thing. I would answer to the pair of names, but my first name on its own? No. I should've hyphenated.

Literally the first line is about "uncontrolled immigration" 🤢 Then the rest is all about councils wasting our money and not fixing the potholes (true) and things like that, but hopefully leading with the unconcealed bigotry will mean people won't be fooled into thinking that part sounds reasonable.
