Enough about authors you've read five books by. Give me the scribes you've read five manuscripts by.

When the last tune in the set is the band's favourite... (Not the best angle for bodhrán, but it DOES reveal the one physical trait I share with Michael from The Butterfly Assassin – a white streak of hair behind my ear. It's the only thing of mine I gave him, at least deliberately.)

Ooh, this is exciting, this is one of the OCC manuscripts that I hadn't managed to view yet (and it's from Cork! Will it belong to my Cork group? Seems very likely, but which subvariant is it? I will let youse know...)

... The zip on the other pair broke this afternoon. I guess I'm going back to the dry cleaners. Maybe I'll go to the *other* dry cleaners, and then compare the results on the two pairs of trousers once they're both back.

Today I finally took a pair of trousers to the dry cleaners for repairs after procrastinating on it since, I think, October 2023. They told me it would be a couple of weeks and I told them I didn't think I had a right to be in a hurry at this point.
