It's not incomprehensible. I went in knowing really nothing (all I had heard was that the movie had surreal moments). It's thesis became clear to me by the third act.

"Boring" is subjective. "Incomprehensible" is not. The movie spells out its thesis pretty goddamn clearly, whether you found it tedious or not.
