The thing is. While centrists do exist under the proper definition of. Everyone does left and right on a policy by policy basis. For example a pro gun, pro choice person would be center. But it's not pro choice half the time or pro abort only half the baby. It's one policy is right the other left.
But self identified centrists use it as an excuse to fencesit. Which in some issues, for example fav movies, sure. But if it's something like one side wants to not be beheaded and the other side wants to behead the people who don't want to be beheaded. Well one side doesn't behead people.
