Honest question: Is there the slightest whiff of 'Hamas' on this guy, or is he strictly a Palestinian against the illegal incursions in Gaza? Which is to say, is there any pretense of legality, or is that not a thing anymore?
I'm not saying he's an alien, I'm saying he's working for foreign interests. There's documented funding from Iran, Russia and such aimed at destabilizing democracies around the World. The pro-palestinian movement was weaponized for this.
Jordan sure didn't care about them when they kicked them out
And no one cared that Jordan or Lebanon kicked out Palestinians wreaking havoc in their civil societies... Israel is specifically targeted for struggling with the same issue and this is leveraged internationally.
Kamala Harris would not have done this. She did not mind being protested. Above all she was supportive of Palestinian self-determination and had her NSA working on a plan. These folks roll the dice with someone who promised to be a dictator.
This is my take too. I tried to resist schadenfreude, but this shit was so fucking predictable and I argued so many times with activists to think strategically instead of emotionally but they chose to run strictly on emotion and now they're watching the consequences. My instinct is to waive bye.
you'll be next dumbass. the org that pushed for this (betar usa) is now saying that trump is going to go after naturalized citizens. what's protecting you?
Nothing is protecting me and if you see me getting deported and say "tried to warn you...bye!" Then I'll say, "guess you were right". We're in the suck now and my point is that it was avoidable. Yes, Harris should have made different choices. But, so too for pro-Palestinian activists.

This doesn’t have anything to do with antisemitism; it has everything to do with anti-intellectualism, anti-internationalism and anti-humanism. He’s fomenting culture war. Academia has to stand up against this.

Allowing international actors to cause civil unrest because of freedom of speech is something that democracies should be equipped to mitigate.

So by your logic ICE can come say that you’re a foreign agent and should be arrested/deported.
We do need tools to manage foreign interference though. Democracies are as strong as they are fragile.
