Honestly I feel like I've made it on social media if ANY account with a follower to following ratio less than 1:1 is following me. Hell I've felt sometimes like I've had to fight for friendship with people with MORE follows than follow them. People are stingy.
Yeah, we know cant stop people from following you. And when you get past 200 people, you disservice to them. I got a bunch this week but I am going to cut it back.

I prefer active users that follow me or vice versa than having a huge following or the perception of such, I have almost 7,000 on Twitter and barely get any engagement
Yes! I had over 1000 and only saw the same 2 mutuals repeatedly. I know social media doesn’t replace actual socializing, but Twitter became a lonely experience. Lon Lon really fucked up. Like, BAD.
