The only consoling thing for me right now is not having children to worry about, but I feel for all the people who have children and want nothing but a fair and decent life for them. Their future seems bleak.

My adult daughter is struggling. My son is scared every day. This is not the world I brought them into. I struggle with it.
I pray for them every single day. I pray that there are no school shooting at their colleges. It's not easy being a parent in these times.

I have nieces and nephews here and they’re all scared. The uncertainty about their (and their children’s) future is crushing. I also have nieces who live in a Scandinavian country who are very concerned for their cousins but not living in fear of their futures.

I have 3 adult children and it’s devastating, but even worse I have a 2 1/2 yr old grandson. Our focus now is how do we protect him?! What kind of future will he have? Scared for my 2 daughters as well. 😢
