The hotel had an interesting way of celebrating the new year; the building fire alarm went off 4 times between 3 am and 9 am, each time for 2-3 minutes. Just long enough to ensure that I was wide awake and the adrenaline was pumping.

Not the start to 2025 that I was hoping for.
