There are already not enough air traffic controllers and these training accidents have picked up in frequency in recent years. Doing more with less is a deadly strategy. Absolutely horrific for all parties involved.

Just yesterday, the Trump administration was touting its motto: "All gas, no brakes." But you'd expect that from a demolition derby, not the US government. So what could go wrong? Ironically, perhaps an army helicopter flying directly into a passenger plane over DC without applying any brakes...
